He was born and raised in American Fork and comes from a family dedicated to serving the health needs of Utah County. After an LDS mission to the deaf in the Boston Massachusetts Mission, he pursued a career in audiology.
He earned degrees from Utah State University, Brigham Young University, and Salus University, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Before opening Timpanogos Hearing & Tinnitus, he worked with Sonic Innovations and co-authored the best-selling book Hear Us Out. He is married with three children and enjoys cycling, golf, and amateur radio.
